Where are you from, and how did you end up at the U of M?
I grew up in Minot, North Dakota and came to the U of M for my undergrad. I stayed in Minneapolis after I graduated and have been here ever since! I've almost reached a point where I've lived in Minneapolis longer than my hometown. I love it here!
Tell us about your schooling!
My undergraduate major was Human Resource Development in CEHD with a Management minor. I went to graduate school at the University of St. Thomas and received my master's degree in Leadership in Student Affairs.
What's something that makes you unique, or that most people might not know about you?
A few things that fall under "most people might not know": I worked as a camp counselor in college and loved everything about it; best job ever! I love mystery and crime tv or books and really any tv with unnecessary drama (i.e. Bravo or CW shows!).
What is your favorite part about being a full time coach?
I was an undecided and exploring student when I was an undergrad so I understand how students feel when they come to CAPE. I love that I can be a resource and coach to students as they explore majors and their interests.
What's your favorite thing to do on a day off?
Going out to breakfast or brunch or staying home, drinking lots of coffee, and watching morning talk shows (don't judge! :)
If you had the power of teleportation, where would you go first?
